1985

Abstract
CARE will provide supplemental P.L. 480 food to 100,000 children aged 0-5 and to 200,000 pregnant and lactating mothers at some 118 posts throughout the country. High-protein, high- calorie foods will be provided, including milk, oil, and corn soya milk; the latter, which is easily digestible, can be made into a precooked porridge (thus not requiring costly firewood). The project will be implemented through the Ministry of Health"s recuperation centers or its Mother/Child Protection Program.
