Grant is provided under the Partners of the Americas program (5980436) to the National Association of the Partners of the Alliance (NAPA) to strengthen both (1) North-South (i.e., U.S.- Central American) linkages among institutions that form NAPA partnerships, and (2) South-South networking among participating Central American entities.

Abstract
Each year for the 3-year grant period, NAPA will conduct two major sector-oriented partnership development workshops, one North-South and the other South-South). It will also make seed grants of up to $5,000 for projects developed by the Central American partners. The grants will support activities such as a small business development program for low-income women in Costa Rica and a swine breeding project for rural youth in Guatemala.
