Grant is provided under the regional Private Sector Initiatives project to Fundacion Interamericana de Ciudades, Inc., to conduct a pilot training workshop for member cities in the Latin America and Caribbean region on ways to enhance economic development by (1) providing municipal services to the private sector; (2) developing policies, tax structures, etc.

Personnel from more than 30 municipalities in Central and South America (including advanced developing countries) and the Caribbean are expected to attend the 3-day workshop, which will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 11/85.
