Abstract
Specifically, the Institute will: (1) conduct six seminars clarifying human rights issues to various professions such as government, law, education, the media, labor unions, and business; (2) conduct research to identify laws and practices in national legal systems that impede implementation of international human rights laws and instruments; and (3) host a regional meeting of experts and practitioners to discuss and evaluate current research on the electoral process in Central America.
