AID specific support grant no. AID/LAC-G-1407 to the National Association of the Partners of the Alliance, Inc. (NAPA) to support and utilize private citizen volunteers through NAPA and affiliated state partnerships in Latin America and the Caribbean

(NAPA) to strengthen its ability to promote private sector participation in development through partnerships between NAPA"s U.S. affiliates and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Under the grant, NAPA will: (1) provide partnership leaders with TA, training, and help in gaining endorsement from local and national leaders; (2) provide TA and training for partnership program development in a wide variety of development sectors; (3) identify funding sources for partnership programs and assist partnerships in tapping these sources; and (4) increase public awareness of the partnership program via newsletters, press releases, audiovisual materials, etc., and by training local volunteer leaders in public relations.
