Abstract

(PAI) to strengthen the performance of CII-VIVIENDAS (Consejo Inter- Institucional para la Coordinacion de Viviendas) and its member organizations in improving the quality of low-income informal housing in the Dominican Republic. PAI will (1) conduct a one- week management training program for CII-VIVIENDAS staff and member organizations; (2) help CII-VIVIENDAS to conduct a housing conference for all local organizations wishing to initiate or expand their work in the informal housing sector; and (3) assist in the development of an institutional plan for CII-VIVIENDAS.
