AID grant no. LAC-0634-G-SS-5075-00 to Planning Assistance, Inc. to undertake a series of management training workshop for upper and mid-level personnel of PVOs involved in supplementary feeding programs in Peru

(PAI) to conduct a series of management training workshops for upper and mid-level personnel of PVO"s involved in supplementary feeding programs in Peru. PAI will conduct two rounds of regional workshops, each round consisting of 5-day workshops in Trujillo, Lima, and Cuzco, each attended by 40-50 people. Some of the topics to be covered in the first round are: supplementary feeding policy; annual benchmarks, medium- to long-range goals, and regional and national multi-year planning; baseline data gathering; supervision and reporting systems; integration of local resources; pilot projects; and improved PVO-Government of Peru collaboration. The second round will focus on planning, monitoring, evaluation, and budget formulation; one of the principal activities will be to review and strengthen the regional multi-year plans drafted in the first round.
