Abstract
The alliance is a partnership between Interactuar Corporation, COMFAMA, Mineros S.A, and Mineros Foundation, with a shared goal of contributing to the socio-economic development of the region. The alliance's approach focuses on developing agricultural value chains, creating integral businesses, and strengthening non-agricultural productive units. This is achieved through a combination of public and private leverage, integration of local, regional, and national governments, academic, and community leaders, and the promotion of entrepreneurship and employability. The alliance's general objective is to contribute to the inclusive, legal, and sustainable rural economic growth of the Bajo Cauca region, through the development of agricultural value chains and the creation and strengthening of non-agricultural productive units. The specific objectives include developing agricultural value chains, especially in the apicultural and piscicultural sectors, and strengthening production and business, market access, credit, and employment for economic improvement of actors in the chain. The alliance has designed a logic frame matrix to guide its activities and expected results. The matrix outlines the general objective, specific objectives, logic of intervention, expected results, and verifiable indicators. The specific objectives include developing agricultural value chains, strengthening production and business, and improving market access, credit, and employment. The alliance aims to achieve its objectives through various activities, including the development and strengthening of agricultural value chains, the creation and strengthening of non-agricultural productive units, and the promotion of entrepreneurship and employability. The activities are designed to be implemented in the towns of Caucasia, El Bagre, Zaragoza, Nechi, Taraza, and Caceres.
