Abstract
The project is organized around three workstreams: Trade Facilitation, the Digital Economy, and Science, Technology, and Innovation. Technical assistance is provided to relevant counterparts in ASEAN to implement policies of mutual interest to ASEAN and the United States. The project's Development Objective (DO) is to support ASEAN's efforts to become more strategically independent through further regional economic integration and sustainable economic growth. The project's Intermediate Results (IR) include increasing the use of digital trade platforms, enhancing the capacity of ASEAN Member States (AMS) to implement trade facilitation measures, and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. The project's Theory of Change outlines the expected causal relationships between the project's interventions and the desired outcomes.
