Abstract
Over the course of 18 months, FP2030 and Knowledge SUCCESS hosted 21 sessions of Connecting Conversations, an interactive series that brought together speakers and participants from around the world to discuss timely topics in AYSRH. The series aimed to share experiences, break down traditional barriers, and address the needs and knowledge gaps of those working closely with young people. The Connecting Conversations series began by exploring adolescent development and health, followed by critical influencers that improve young people's reproductive health. Subsequent sessions focused on an adolescent-responsive approach to SRH services and reaching key youth populations in AYSRH. The series concluded by examining the future and advancement of the AYSRH field. Key themes emerged, including youth engagement and partnership, multi-sector programming, responsive SRH services, and engaging with the many contexts and influencers that impact young people's lives. Youth engagement and partnership were central to the series, with a focus on empowering young people to take ownership of their health and well-being. Multi-sector programming was also emphasized, highlighting the importance of collaboration between different sectors to address the complex needs of young people. Responsive SRH services were a key area of discussion, with a focus on providing services that are tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of young people. Engaging with the many contexts and influencers that impact young people's lives was also a critical theme, recognizing that young people's health and well-being are shaped by a range of factors, including family, community, and societal norms. The series explored a range of topics, including the importance of addressing the needs of key youth populations, such as adolescents living with HIV, young people with disabilities, and those from marginalized communities. The series also highlighted the need for innovative approaches to SRH service delivery, including the use of technology and digital platforms to reach young people. Throughout the series, participants shared best practices, lessons learned, and stories of impact, providing valuable insights and inspiration for the AYSRH community. The Connecting Conversations series provided a platform for experts and practitioners to share their knowledge and experiences, and to learn from one another. The series demonstrated the value of collaboration and partnership in addressing the complex needs of young people, and highlighted the importance of responsive SRH services that are tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of young people. The series also underscored the need for continued innovation and experimentation in the AYSRH field, and the importance of engaging with the many contexts and influencers that impact young people's lives.
