Abstract
Department of Agriculture (USDA) cereal grain, grain legume, and oilseed experts to assist A.I.D."s Agriculture Production Division, Regional Bureaus, Missions, and LDC"s. The USDA experts (totaling approximately 25 person-months) will assist in project design, implementation, and evaluation and will on a short-term basis provide advice on solving field-level problems. Amendment of 7/15/83 extends the project to 9/30/88, renames it the Agriculture Technology R&D Project, and reorganizes it as three subprojects comprising five previously separate agricultural projects. Subproject 01 is entitled Agricultural Production Technology Transfer and combines the Pest Maagement Capability project (9311149) and this project. Subprojects 02 and 03, entitled, respectively, Plant and Seed Material and World Rhizobium Collection Center, take over the respective functions (and names) of planned projects 9360829 and 9360095. (PD-AAN-038) Amendment of 7/28/88 extends PACD to 7/31/91 and adds a RSSA (formerly under Project 9310242) with the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration"s (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service.
