Abstract
The department's primary objective is to improve the environment in Kabul City by creating green areas in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. The Greenery Department reports to the Deputy Mayor, City Service Delivery, and liaises with the Deputy Mayor, district Manager, and Administrative Department for work progress and reporting. The department's activities are guided by the Municipality Law of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which emphasizes the importance of protecting and creating urban green spaces. The department's work involves implementing the Kabul Municipality strategies on greenery development in Kabul Municipality.
