Abstract
The Investigative Science Learning Environment (ISLE) is a learning approach that supports this curriculum by encouraging students to be active, creative, and innovative in conducting observations and experiments on a project. ISLE is based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and helps students solve actual scientific problems through collaborative group activities. The development of worksheets plays a crucial role in the ISLE-based STEM approach. The purpose of this study was to develop worksheets for the ISLE-based STEM approach by gathering feedback and learning outcomes from grade 10 high school students in Banda Aceh. The research employed the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) development model. The analysis of worksheet validation by experts reached a score of 3.91, indicating a valid criterion for a worksheet to be used in a learning process. The study involved 101 sample students from four senior high schools in Banda Aceh. The students were selected using a purposive random sampling technique. The schools were chosen due to their favorable reputation, adequate infrastructure, and unimplemented learning concepts. The research aimed to develop accountable educational products using the ADDIE model. The data used in this research was quantitative, which was converted into qualitative data through data analysis. The results of the study showed that the percentage of students' responses to learning was 85%, indicating positive students' responses to learning using the developed worksheets. The test of learning outcomes after the implementation of the ISLE-based STEM approach reached 86%. These results indicate that the ISLE-based STEM worksheets can be used for grade 10 high school students. The ISLE-based STEM approach focuses on student activeness, emphasizes performance assessment, and team cooperation. The combination of ISLE and STEM is expected to increase students' quality. Students will be excited to see the results of the experiment, which can be gained easily. The study aimed to find out the validity of student worksheets, students' response to worksheets, and learning outcomes of grade 10 students of high school in Banda Aceh by using worksheets ISLE Based STEM for simple pendulum topics. The study used a smartphone, computer/laptop censor accelerometer, and tracker application to integrate STEM with the factual concept that students encountered. This method of learning focuses on the student's activeness, emphasizes on performance assessment, and team cooperation. The results of the study suggest that the ISLE-based STEM approach can be an effective way to improve students' learning outcomes and increase their quality.
