District Sanitaire de Bandiagara: Rapport de l'atelier de formation des utilisateurs sur le Manuel des Procédures Opératoires Standards pour la gestion du système d'information logistique des médicaments essentiels et intrants des programmes de santé au Mali

The atelier took place from October 13 to 17 and from October 20 to 24, 2014, at the Hôtel LA FALAISE. The objective of the atelier was to reinforce the knowledge, skills, and aptitudes of users in the gestion du système d'information logistique des médicaments essentiels et intrants de programmes de santé au Mali, in order to ensure visibility of data on logistics management at all levels for efficient decision-making, ultimately ensuring the constant availability of quality products. The atelier consisted of two sessions, with two main components: Volet 1, which focused on reinforcing technical skills, and Volet 2, which involved the elaboration of individual action plans to track participants' progress based on their own commitments. The methodology used was participatory and based on interactive presentations, brainstorming, group discussions, role-playing, individual exercises, and group work. The atelier brought together 53 health agents, including 6 women, composed of directeurs techniques de centre (DTC), gérants des dépôts de vente (DV), and centre de santé communautaire (CSCom) and centre de santé de référence (CSRef) managers from the District Sanitaire de Bandiagara. The formation was led by two regional facilitators, two coaches, a catalyst, and a technical advisor from SIAPS based in Mopti. During the atelier, the facilitators conducted knowledge assessments to ensure participants' understanding of the formation and its utility in managing medications in health centers. At the end of the formation, a copy of the manuel des procédures opératoires standards, a formation manual, was given to each participant, along with 100 stock sheets and a stock management report (CRGS) for each health structure.
