Abstract
The atelier aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and abilities of users in managing the system of information logistics of essential medicines and inputs of health programs in Mali. The atelier had two components: the reinforcement of technical skills and the elaboration of individual action plans to follow each participant based on their own commitments. The methodology used was participatory and based on interactive presentations, brainstorming, group discussions, role-playing, individual and group exercises. The atelier brought together 21 actors from various profiles, including pharmacists, managers of Depots Répartiteur des Cercles (DRC), and SIS chargés from district health centers, hospitals, and the Regional Health Directorate (DRS). During the atelier, successive evaluations were conducted to ensure the impact of this training activity. It also allowed for the observation of facilitators to ensure the application of knowledge and attitudes acquired during the training of trainers. The atelier was organized by the Programme des systèmes pour l'amélioration de l'accès aux produits et services pharmaceutiques (SIAPS) in collaboration with the Direction de la Pharmacie et du Médicament (DPM) and the Direction Régionale de la Santé (DRS) of the Kayes region. The atelier was facilitated by a team of experts from SIAPS and the DPM. The atelier focused on the manual of procedures for the management of the system of information logistics of essential medicines and inputs of health programs in Mali. The manual provides guidelines for the management of the system of information logistics, including the planning, implementation, and monitoring of logistics activities. The atelier aimed to improve the management of the system of information logistics of essential medicines and inputs of health programs in Mali. The atelier also aimed to strengthen the capacity of users to manage the system of information logistics and to improve the availability of essential medicines and inputs of health programs in Mali.
