Economic growth and development : contract amendment with Scientex Corporation [-- private sector component]

Scientex Corporation will review the GON"s inventory of state- owned or -operated properties and the strategy and action plans that are already being developed by the GON. The component will then provide recommendations regarding: institutional arrangements for management of the privatization program, methods of eliminating the monopoly position of certain state-owned or - operated enterprises, methods of privatization, valuation and financing methods, and steps to be included in the privatization action plan. Scientex will also suggest a policy agenda for USAID/N to pursue in conjunction with balance of payments assistance and identify types of TA the GON will require to carry out the privatization program. This activity is part of EGAD"s private sector component.
