Abstract
The study was based on interviews with 715 of 787 participants who returned from U.S. and third country training between 1951 and March, 1957 and with 615 supervisors. Recommendations focus on training design, trainee selection, pre-departure preparation, orientation, follow-up, and utilization of training. (Author abstract, modified)
