Abstract
The project was implemented by the NGO 'Civic Platform on Implementation of Land Reform in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast' with funding from the USAID Ukraine AgroInvest project. The project's main objective was to ensure sustainable provision of legal services to rural landowners and farmers in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, thereby preventing and reducing the risks of violating landowners' and users' rights during the implementation of land reform. The project's tasks included developing the capacity of the grant recipient through participation in training programs conducted by the Resource Center and the USAID AgroInvest Project. The project's activities focused on several key areas, including the development of the capacity of the grant recipient, creation of a system for continuous professional development of 356 land surveyors from rural and urban councils, provision of legal services to small and medium-sized farmers, and support for the effective work of the Resource Center on land rights. During the project's implementation, the members of the NGO 'Civic Platform on Implementation of Land Reform in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast' participated in activities conducted by the Resource Center and the USAID AgroInvest Project. The project's participants attended training sessions, seminars, and workshops, which helped them develop their skills and knowledge in land legislation, taxation, and other areas. The project's results included the development of the capacity of the grant recipient, creation of a system for continuous professional development of land surveyors, and provision of legal services to small and medium-sized farmers. The project also supported the effective work of the Resource Center on land rights and promoted the exchange of best practices in providing legal services to farmers and rural landowners. The project's geographic focus was on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine, and its implementation timeframe was five months, from July to December 2015. The project's leader was Vasyl'eva Olena Georgiivna, and the project's accountant was Irina Striel'tsova. The project's report was submitted in December 2015, and it provided an overview of the project's activities, results, and achievements.
