Abstract
The program's primary objective was to promote mutual understanding and respect between Jewish and Arab youth, with a focus on education, community development, and youth leadership development. The program's results for FY21 showed mixed results. The target of 75% of targeted participants agreeing that they have a better understanding of the other community was exceeded, with 93% of Young Leaders and 84% of Schoolchildren reporting a positive change in their attitude towards the other community. However, the target of 60% of participating stakeholders viewing the Green Roof program as an effective and replicable model for multi-sector Jewish-Arab cooperation was not met, as the activity component was not implemented in FY21. The program's evaluation activities included surveys and focus groups with participating Young Leaders. The results showed that Young Leaders responded positively to the program, identifying with its values and making changes in their lives as a result of their participation. The results also showed that Young Leaders made significant connections with one another, particularly with partners from the other community. The program's performance was affected by external factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The program's management and evaluation team worked to adapt to these challenges, but the results were affected by the challenges faced by the program. The program's budget expenditures were $169,000, which was short of the target of $211,000. The program's consultant reports and evaluation data were used to inform program implementation and evaluation. The program's evaluation activities were effective in informing program implementation, but the results were affected by the challenges faced by the program. The program's results and performance were evaluated against the project's performance plan (PMP). The PMP was used to measure the project's impact and effectiveness. The results of the evaluation showed that the program made progress towards its objectives, but the results were affected by the challenges faced by the program. The program's evaluation activities were designed to measure the impact of the program on the target population. The evaluation used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including surveys, focus groups, and surveys. The results of the evaluation showed that the program had a positive impact on the target population, with participants showing improved attitudes towards the other community. The program's evaluation activities were also used to inform program implementation. The results of the evaluation were used to identify areas for improvement and to develop strategies for improving program performance. The program's geographic focus was on the West Bank and Gaza, with a focus on promoting Jewish-Arab reconciliation through education and community development. The program's geographic focus was influenced by the location of the project's target population and the availability of resources. The program's timeframes were from October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021. The project's evaluation activities were conducted during this time period.
