Abstract
These risks have disproportionate impacts on people and places in the Global South, and GRP works with its partners to identify, mentor, and scale locally-led solutions that build resilience to agricultural shocks, climate change, and conflict. The partnership has transformed from a challenge fund delivery model to a more holistic and systemic approach, with a balanced focus on innovation, knowledge, and policy. GRP's work is guided by its Theory of Change, which outlines the key challenges it responds to, its unique strengths and competencies, and the means for strategic intervention. The partnership aims to accelerate transformative learning through knowledge brokering and co-production, cultivate an enabling ecosystem for scaling resilience solutions, evidence, and investments, and diversify the voices that shape resilience innovation, policy, and knowledge. GRP also works to mainstream resilience into finance, advance resilience in policy and action, and accelerate implementation through catalytic grants and other initiatives. One significant development in the past year has been the adoption of a new language and style in GRP's reporting, which reflects a simplified approach to communication. The partnership has transitioned away from its previous Value Additions (VAs) framework to a straightforward three areas of work approach: Innovation, Knowledge, and Policy. Each area of work continues to have Collaborative Actions, now referred to as initiatives, that fall under each. This change is intended to make GRP's language and messaging more accessible and clear. GRP's work is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through a cooperative agreement. The partnership's progress is reported against USAID indicators, and its annual report provides an overview of its achievements and activities during the reporting period. The report highlights key successes, including the Resilience Evidence Coalition's achievements, the Success Story of the Resilience Evidence Forum, and the progress made in mainstreaming resilience into finance and advancing resilience in policy and action. GRP's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework is designed to track progress and inform decision-making. The partnership's operations and finance are also reported on in the annual report, providing a comprehensive overview of its activities and achievements during the reporting period.
