Abstract
The grant was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under Contract No. 674-C-00-10-00030-00. The project aimed to improve financial governance in Caprivi Conservancies by strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) and the Conservancies to manage their finances effectively. The project focused on three key areas: financial management, human resources management, and information management. The project team conducted a series of assessments and training programs to build the capacity of the MET and the Conservancies. The team also provided technical assistance to the Conservancies to improve their financial management systems. The project also supported the development of a financial management framework for the Conservancies.
