Grant to Fundacion Habitat (FH), a new Salvadoran PVO, created to help provide housing and environmental solutions for low-income persons in urban and rural areas.

Abstract

The grant will fund FH"s administrative costs for 1 year, while FH defines its programming objectives and develops a 2-year project and programming plan (including provisions for achieving financial self-sufficiency, through, e.g., dues collection, private sector support). FH will undertake a short (6-month) demonstration project to indicate to potential donors its viability as a housing PVO.
