Abstract
The tool is based on the concept of "La Escala de la Vida," which aims to establish a scoring system that takes into account the resources and progress of the family before receiving professional accompaniment. The tool is divided into three phases: Characterization, Execution of the Work Plan, and Post-Accompaniment. Each phase has specific objectives and activities that involve the family in the Reintegration Process. The tool also incorporates the concept of "Terapia Centrada en las Soluciones" (Solution-Focused Therapy), which emphasizes the importance of identifying and building on the family's strengths and resources. The tool uses a scoring system called "La Escala" to measure the family's progress and identify areas of improvement. The scale ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 indicating a highly favorable situation and 1 indicating a highly unfavorable situation. The tool also includes a "Escala de Confianza" to measure the family's confidence in their ability to maintain changes. The tool is designed to be used by professionals working with families in the Reintegration Process. It aims to promote the participation of the family group in the process and to provide a comprehensive understanding of the family's situation. The tool is based on the principles of Solution-Focused Therapy and the concept of "La Escala de la Vida." The tool has several benefits, including the promotion of family participation, the identification of strengths and resources, and the establishment of a scoring system to measure progress. The tool also allows for the consideration of multiple perspectives within the family, including those of the father, mother, and children. The tool is based on the concept of the family as a transversal axis in all dimensions of life, and it emphasizes the importance of considering the family's perspective in all aspects of the Reintegration Process. The tool also promotes the development of listening and empathy skills among family members and the establishment of collaborative goals to overcome vulnerability. The tool has been developed by a team of professionals from the Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) and the Agencia Colombiana para la Reintegración (ACR), in collaboration with the Corporación Lenguaje Ciudadano. The tool is designed to be used in the context of the Reintegration Process in Colombia, but it can be adapted to other contexts and settings.
