Indicators for reproductive health program evaluation : introduction

In April 1994, USAID asked the Family Planning Evaluation Project to develop indicators for program evaluation of reproductive health interventions in five areas: safe pregnancy (including treatment and prevention of unsafe abortion); sexually transmitted diseases/HIV; women"s nutrition; breastfeeding; and adolescent reproductive health services.
