Abstract
Dafrossa Lyimo, IVD Programme Manager, and Dr. Roman B. Momburi, Director of PHCI Iringa. The training was conducted in collaboration with WHO, JSI, and PHCI Iringa at VETA Iringa from July 9th to July 20th, 2012. The training focused on logistics and vaccine management, with the goal of enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals in managing vaccine supplies and logistics. The training aimed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of vaccine distribution and administration in Tanzania. Dr. Dafrossa Lyimo and Dr. Roman B. Momburi, along with other participants, received training in areas such as vaccine storage and handling, cold chain management, and logistics planning. The training also covered topics such as inventory management, supply chain management, and data management. The training was conducted by a team of experts from WHO, JSI, and PHCI Iringa, who provided participants with hands-on experience and practical knowledge in logistics and vaccine management.
