Abstract
The program aimed to improve the quality of education in Rwanda by providing teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach and manage their classrooms. The program focused on three key areas: curriculum development, teacher training, and school management. The program was designed to be implemented over a period of five months, with a total of 30 training sessions. The training sessions were divided into three modules: module one focused on curriculum development, module two focused on teacher training, and module three focused on school management. Each module consisted of 10 training sessions, with a total of 30 hours of training per module. The program was implemented in 10 schools across Rwanda, with a total of 100 teachers participating in the training. The teachers were trained on various topics, including lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment and evaluation. The program also provided teachers with the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices with their colleagues. The program was evaluated using a mixed-methods approach, which included both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The evaluation found that the program was effective in improving the quality of education in Rwanda. The teachers who participated in the program reported an increase in their confidence and competence in teaching and managing their classrooms. The program also led to an improvement in student outcomes, with students showing an increase in their academic achievement. The program was also effective in promoting collaboration and teamwork among teachers. The teachers who participated in the program reported that they felt more supported and motivated to work together to improve the quality of education in their schools. The program also led to an increase in the use of technology in the classroom, with teachers reporting that they were more likely to use technology to support their teaching and learning.
