Abstract
It draws on a variety of international data sources and uses international benchmarking against reference group averages, comparator countries, and statistical norms to identify major constraints, trends, and opportunities for strengthening growth and reducing poverty in a particular country. In this report, Panama"s reference group average is from upper middle-income Latin America and Caribbean (UMI-LAC) countries and its comparator countries are Chile and the Dominican Republic.
