Abstract
Each report draws on a variety of international data sources and uses international benchmarking against reference group averages, comparator countries, and statistical norms to identify major constraints, trends, and opportunities for strengthening growth and reducing poverty. In this report, Sri Lankas economic performance is compared to that of lower-middle-income (LMI) countries and LMI countries in Asia (median values) and to performance in the Philippines and Thailand.
