Abstract
The program is implemented by the Ministerio de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología, with the support of the Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) through the Proyecto Educación para la Niñez y Juventud (ECYP). The program's main objective is to improve educational opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged students between the ages of 9 and 24 who are not in school or are at risk of dropping out. The program has several key components, including the Programa de Formación Integral, which provides comprehensive services to support students who are outside the regular education system. The program has designed 15 modules for Tercer ciclo and 10 for Bachillerato, making a total of 25 documents of support for autonomous formation and the achievement of learning indicators of the study programs. The program's implementation began in 2013, and it has been working to address the difficulties faced by students, including violence, early pregnancy, economic difficulties, and limited access to education and employment. The program's main partners include the Ministerio de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología, the Fundación para la Educación Integral Salvadoreña (FEDISAL), and other institutions such as Family Health International (FHI 360), Asociación Institución Salesiana (AIS), and Fundación Salvador del Mundo (FUSALMO). The program's goal is to improve the educational outcomes of students and provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future endeavors.
