Key learning objectives of the course included comprehending personal style and values, applying skills in focus, concentration, and communication to support personal brand, building credibility and trust by living one's brand, and taking ownership of one's image both online and in person. The facilitator emphasized the importance of personal branding, citing the need to build credibility and trust by living one's brand. The course outline included a discussion on the definition of a brand, with the American Marketing Association defining a brand as a name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller's good or service as distinct from those of other sellers. The facilitator also discussed the concept of branding, highlighting the importance of logos and how they convey a brand's message. During the training, participants were encouraged to engage in discussions and activities to help them develop their personal brand. They were asked to reflect on how they would like people they work with to describe them, and to identify a unique selling point that sets them apart from others. The facilitator also provided handouts, including a personal branding assessment audit and ten golden rules to build personal brands. The course emphasized the importance of building a strong personal brand, citing the need to be authentic, consistent, and visible. Participants were encouraged to take ownership of their image both online and in person, and to use social media to build their personal brand. The facilitator also provided guidance on how to create a unique selling point and how to use social media to build a personal brand. Throughout the training, the facilitator encouraged participants to engage in discussions and activities, and to share their thoughts and ideas in the chat.
