Abstract
The report is submitted by Creative Associates International, the implementing partner of the USAID-funded project. The project aims to provide secondary prevention services to youth at risk of engaging in criminal behavior in Honduras. The project has made significant progress in its startup activities, including the hiring of operational and programmatic staff. As of March 2016, the project has a total of 65 employees in three cities: Tegucigalp, San Pedro Sula, and La Ceiba. The staff includes a diverse range of professionals, including doctors, social workers, teachers, and psychologists. The project has also made progress in defining scopes of work for grantees and subcontractors, and has finalized deliverables for USAID. Trainings for family counselors and team meetings have been conducted, and strategic planning has taken place.
