Abstract
With face-to-face interactions becoming increasingly difficult, distance or remote e-learning platforms have emerged as a practical and effective solution. The report highlights various aspects of distance and remote learning platforms, including the advantages and disadvantages of remote learning, comparisons of different platforms, success factors for e-learning, and best practices for engagement in virtual meetings. The study aims to identify strategies for interactive engagement between speakers and listeners, particularly in the context of remote learning. The report emphasizes the importance of developing strategies that promote active engagement between listeners and speakers. This is crucial in remote learning settings, where personal connections between teachers and students are critical. The study suggests that educators can implement online instruction using guidelines from reputable organizations such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). The objectives of the study include reviewing the features of different e-platforms for distance or remote learning to identify strategies for interactive engagement. The report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of remote learning platforms, highlighting their key features, advantages, and disadvantages. By examining the success factors for e-learning and best practices for engagement in virtual meetings, the study aims to provide a framework for effective remote learning. The report highlights the need for a proper methodology for interaction between people in remote learning settings. This includes careful planning, the right tools and software, reliable internet connections, and devices. Teachers must clarify their expectations and employ new tactics to engage their students, while also considering student safety and online privacy regulations. The study identifies several key factors that contribute to effective remote learning, including the use of multiple instructional strategies, moderator strategies, and engagement in virtual sessions/online delivery. The report also emphasizes the importance of developing strategies that help produce active engagement between listeners and speakers.
