Abstract
In the light of the rapid growth of educational problems in many less developed countries, recommendations are made to guide project selection and procedures by the Agency for International Development: tie research and development into all demonstration activities; support the use of radio, TV, audio media, TV alternates (videotape or disc players), and programmed instruction; projects which combine two or more media; detailed definition of objectives and goals for projects; and training of research personnel in less developed countries. Proposed projects are briefly outlined, ranging from one that seeks to identify cultural and sociological variables in education, to another which aims at making inexpensive TV receivers.
