Grant is provided to the Government of Senegal to strengthen the capability of the Ecole Nationale d"Economie (ENEA - National School of Applied Economics) to provide practical field training to its students.

Abstract
(ENEA trains middle-level professional agricultural personnel in the fields of land-use planning, rural animation, cooperation, planning, statistics, and practical intermediate education.) First, ENEA will be provided with one landrover type vehicle and one station wagon for use in transporting ENEA"s 160 students to field sites and to allow ENEA instructors to visit these sites on a regular basis. ENEA will also be provided with camping equipment (tents, portable stoves, sleeping bags, etc.) to allow its students to live adequately and self-sufficiently during their lengthy periods (3-4 months) of field work. In addition, office equipment will be provided to enable students to type and reproduce their field and research reports for distribution to appropriate government agencies.
