Abstract
The program focuses on the rehabilitation and construction of roads, schools, water, and wastewater projects. The objective of Task Order 00006 is to develop, rehabilitate, and improve an existing well at Qabatiya and to install and equip that well with a new pump and appurtenant equipment. The Task Order also includes the construction of a conveyance system that will connect the Qabatiya Well to Al-Zababdeh junction. The Qabatiya Well project involves several key components, including preconstruction coordination with the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), mobilization, submittals, procurement and delivery, construction phase, and post-construction phase. As of February 2015, the percent complete for each major component is as follows: preconstruction coordination (100%), mobilization (100%), submittals (47%), procurement and delivery (6%), construction phase (14.16%), and post-construction phase (0%). The revised Critical Path Method (CPM) Schedule, submitted to the Construction Management Contractor (CMC) on February 2nd, reflects the modification issued and signed on December 24, 2014. The project's progress is monitored through various activities, including labor and equipment, meetings and correspondence with USAID, meetings and correspondence with CMC and subcontractors, procurement/subcontract actions, quality control, safety, public relations, and project permitting and security. The project's schedule is also closely monitored, with a focus on progress versus planned activities. The next reporting period is expected to cover activities anticipated during March 2015, including planned submission of invoices, planned activities, and planned staff changes. The Qabatiya Well project faces several challenges, including administration, Qabatiya Conveyance System, Qabatiya Well Site, and other issues. The project's implementation is subject to various constraints, including the need for timely completion of submittals, procurement and delivery of equipment, and construction of the conveyance system. The project's success depends on the effective management of these challenges and constraints. The project's key information includes the contract number (AID-294-I-12-00001), task order number (AID-294-TO-13-00006), notice to proceed (14 May 2013), and project original duration (21 months). The project's progress is closely monitored, and the next reporting period is expected to provide an update on the project's status and anticipated activities.
