Urban upgrading in Gabon : report on technical assistance mission

This report addresses the constraints of the proposed urban improvement program and makes recommendations for policy and programmatic changes. Issues discussed include urban renewal models, onsite upgrading limited by poorly designed roads and drainage systems, the high cost of housing production, and limited financial credit schemes.
