Grant is provided to the Council of Swaziland Churches (CSC) under the Rural Water-Borne Disease Control Project (6450087) for a program to construct water systems using community labor in 8 rural communities.

Abstract
All the systems will rely on simple, low-maintenance, gravity-flow design unless otherwsie agreed upon by CSC, the Rural Water Supply Board, and the A.I.D. engineer. CSC will also encourage the construction of pit latrines at the household level, while the Ministry of Health will provide supporting health education and motivation. Some 280 homesteads will benefit from the project.
