Abstract
This includes establishing connections and relationships within the awards and between implementing partners, governments, and stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to address systemic challenges such as governance, skills gaps, climate change, low investment, and low productivity to achieve sustained growth rates. The Leader Award has worked collaboratively with partners and governments to address these challenges. Key results achieved in the second quarter include ensuring compliance with internal controls, organization policies, and procedures, as well as generally accepted accounting principles. A total of $X were programmed and submitted for donor approval to support Associate Award 1, Associate Award 2, and Associate Award 3 activities. The Leader Award has also focused on coordination, collaboration, and backbone support for collective impact and learning. This includes cross-learning, vertical learning, and harmonization of learning. Webinars, learning, collaborations, and knowledge sharing have been key components of this effort. In terms of central support services, the Leader Award has provided monitoring, evaluation, and learning, as well as communications, engineering and environmental compliance, LWA operations, and safety and security. These services are critical to the success of the activity and have been provided in a timely and effective manner. The Leader Award has also made significant progress in Quarter 3, with a focus on implementing activities and achieving results. The activity has worked closely with partners and governments to address systemic challenges and achieve sustained growth rates. The Leader Award has also provided opportunities for learning and collaboration, which are critical to the success of the activity.
