Abstract
The training programs emphasized the importance of crop rotation, composting, and conservation agriculture. The plots also served as a platform for farmers to share knowledge and best practices. This finding suggests that women may be more receptive to new agricultural practices, potentially due to their greater involvement in household food production and preparation. The evaluation also found that the program's focus on sustainable agriculture practices had a positive impact on soil health, with significant reductions in soil erosion and nutrient depletion. These findings suggest that the program's approach is effective in improving agricultural productivity and improving the livelihoods of small-scale farmers in Rwanda.
