USAID Sri Lanka and Maldives Ocean Plastics Reduction Activity Quarter 1 Year 2 Progress Report (October-December 2023)

Field visits in Trinalee empower educators in environmental stewardship, while the partnership with CCS forges new paths for women-led recycling networks in Sri Lanka. The Activity is strengthening waste management and reducing plastics available to the environment. Implementation progress and accomplishments include comprehensive surveys and educational sessions in H.A. Thura. Strategic stakeholder engagement at the 'Maldives Stakes' event is advancing local and national sustainability. The partnership with CCS is forging new paths for women-led recycling networks in Sri Lanka. The Activity is also advancing local and national sustainability through field visits in Trinalee, empowering educators in environmental stewardship. Technical activities include technical activities, cross-cutting activities, and management, staffing, and operations.
