NHRI Burkina Faso Study: Interactions with CSOs

The study, conducted by the ABA ROLI in collaboration with Freedom House, aims to fill the evidence gaps in the growing academic literature on the role of NHRIs in pursuing justice. The study explores the human rights conditions in Burkina Faso, the role of the Commission Nationale des Droits Humains (CNDH) in addressing justice needs, and the interactions between the CNDH and CSOs. The study also examines individual responses to human rights violations, trust in the CNDH and CSOs, and provides recommendations for improving the accessibility of services needed by human rights violation victims.
