WASHplus | WASH-NTD Pilot Project in Burkina Faso End of Project Report

Abstract
This multi-year project (2010-2016), led by FHI 360 in partnership with CARE and Winrock International, was funded through USAID’s Bureau for Global Health. If was implemented in Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Nepal, Zambia In 2013, the USAID/Neglected Tropical Diseases program provided funds for WASHplus to identify and present WASH interventions that could be used to assist in eliminating and/or controlling soil transmitted helminths (STH), and trachoma in Bangladesh and Burkina Faso. The activities consisted of: a desk review joint NTD/WASHplus assessments in; and pilot implementation in one country. This report describes the efforts of the WASH-NTD pilot project in Burkina Faso.
