USAID CLEAN CITIES, BLUE OCEAN: Initial Gender Assessment Template

It is a tool designed to help organizations assess their gender lens and identify areas where they may need to think more thoroughly about implementing their programs in terms of gender. The template consists of 22 questions, divided into sections such as Organization Information, Audience/Community Information, Employment, Training, and Inclusiveness/Gender Learning. The questions aim to gather information on the organization's staff demographics, target audience, employment practices, training plans, and approaches to gender inclusivity and learning. The assessment is meant to be completed honestly and fully, without scoring or judgment, to help organizations better understand their gender dynamics and improve their programs.
