Abstract
The report presents the findings of a qualitative study conducted in Madagascar to understand the drivers of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and acceptance among high-priority populations. The study used the World Health Organization's behavioral and social drivers of vaccination framework to guide the analysis. The report provides an overview of the study's methodology, results, and conclusions, including the common findings across different respondent types, effective messages, messengers, and messaging platforms/channels of communication, resources, opportunities, and community events to improve advocacy, communication, and social mobilization. The report also provides recommendations for improving COVID-19 vaccine uptake in Madagascar.
