Abstract
It provides a series of questions to assess the child's nutritional status and the mother's ability to provide adequate nutrition. Based on the answers, the guide advises whether the mother should continue breastfeeding or start introducing complementary foods. The document also provides guidance on counseling mothers on appropriate feeding practices, ARVs, and nutritionally adequate and safe diets.
