This document is a poster presentation titled DEMOGRAPHIC AND HEALTH SURVEYS FROM GUATEMALA, JORDAN, AND MALAWI REPORTED LOWER MEAN HEMOGLOBIN VALUES IN CHILDREN THAN MICRONUTRIENT STATUS SURVEYS created by USAID Advancing Nutrition in November 2020.

Abstract
The poster examines the variation in hemoglobin concentration in children aged 6-59 months from demographic and health surveys (DHS) and micronutrient status surveys (MNS) in Guatemala, Jordan, and Malawi. The study explores how differences in hemoglobin measurement, blood sampling type, and instrument used can affect anemia prevalence and classification. The poster presents results from the analysis, including mean hemoglobin values, and anemia prevalence, and discusses the implications for resource commitment and policy decisions.
