Abstract
The project aimed to improve the quality of peer support groups, specifically care groups, using human-centered design (HCD) principles. The research involved participatory design and testing of solutions with care group participants, lead mothers, and promoters to address challenges and improve the quality of care groups. The document presents the research methodology, findings, and key takeaways, including the development of four prototypes to strengthen care groups: Simple Job Aid for Reflection Session, Drama Development Guide, Look-and-Learn Guide, and Commitment Card. The report highlights the importance of fun and interactive activities, peer-to-peer learning, and accountability mechanisms in care groups.
