Monitoring Fortified Food Programs in Honduras: Final Results

It presents the results of a study that aimed to obtain recent information on the sales outlets and the micronutrient content of foods that must be fortified in the country, such as sugar, salt, and wheat flour, as well as some foods that are voluntarily fortified, like nixtamalized corn flour and milk. The report provides an overview of the study's objectives, methodology, and findings, including the compliance of fortified foods with established regulations and recommendations for different key actors in the country to improve the performance of fortification programs.
