Abstract
The project aims to improve the water security and resilience of Jordan by enhancing the country's water infrastructure and promoting sustainable water management practices. The project is implemented by CDM International Inc. and is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through a contract with the Government of Jordan. The project's main objective is to increase the availability and reliability of water supply in Jordan, particularly in the Aqaba region. To achieve this objective, the project focuses on several key areas, including the rehabilitation and expansion of water treatment plants, the construction of new water transmission lines, and the implementation of water conservation measures. The project also aims to promote sustainable water management practices through the development of a water management plan and the establishment of a water monitoring system.
