Abstract
The project is being implemented by Abacus Consulting under the support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The 19th PMP Quarterly Report highlights the progress made against project targets assigned for the 19th quarter. Indicator 1.2 measures the percentage of trained FATA employees using new/improved systems. A total of 99% of employees trained in this quarter are using the newly developed systems, with four systems being relatively underutilized. Indicator 1.5 tracks the number of sub-national government entities receiving assistance to improve their performance. The target was to provide assistance to 26 sub-national entities, but due to the transfer of one directorate, assistance was provided to 25 entities. The entities receiving assistance include the Administration, Infrastructure and Coordination Department, Finance Department, Law and Order Department, and others. Indicator 1.6 measures the number of government operations supported with USG assistance. The target was to provide assistance to 10 government operations, which was successfully achieved. The operations supported include Project Planning and Proposal Development, Information Technology Support Services, Monitoring & Evaluation, and others. The project also conducted two training sessions, one on HRMIS for the Health Directorate of FATA and another on Zakat Management in FATA for the FATA Zakat Council and Chairmen Agency Zakat Committees. A total of 26 officials were trained, including 6 officials from the Health Directorate and 20 officials from the Zakat Council and Chairmen Agency Zakat Committees. Indicator 1.2.3 tracks the number of FATA departments and directorates covered by IT support. The target was to provide IT support to 19 entities, but due to the transfer of the Directorate of Minerals, Industries, and Technical Education (MITE), IT support was provided to 18 entities. All of the FATA departments and directorates are being provided with internet, intranet, and VoIP facilities. Indicator 1.2.4 measures the number of departments and directorates whose information is available on the web portal. A total of 18 FATA departments and directorate's information is available online.
